Tomorrow morning, Tuesday October 20th, we’ll be welcoming the Grand Fire Department and Grand Lake Fire Department for our High Fives event! 🎉
When you drop your child off at school, you may see firefighters, fire trucks, and even some flashing lights. No need to worry—it’s not an emergency! Our firefighters are here to help us give our students a fun, high-five-filled start to their day! 🖐️❤️

Dear Granby Families,
One of the most important parts of our work at Granby is partnering with you to support your child’s growth and success. Parent-teacher conferences are a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, celebrate accomplishments, and discuss academic progress, social development, and any areas where your child may need additional support.
Our K-5 fall parent-teacher conferences will be held on October 28 and 29, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. We ask that every family schedule a conference with their child’s teacher.
Each conference will be 20 minutes long, and appointment times are limited. If you have children in multiple grades, please sign up for a conference with each child’s teacher. We recommend staggering your appointment times to allow enough time to move between classrooms.
Please sign up at Sign Up. You should be able to navigate between grades at the file folders on the top or with the drop down. Please make sure to sign up with your child's teacher.
We value the partnership we share with our Granby families and look forward to connecting with you, celebrating your child’s growth, and working together to support their continued success!

This fall, Unbridled is bringing hundreds of employees to Granby for Camp Unbridled. Unbridled is a family of companies that creates events and experiences around the world, and a big part of who we are is giving back in the communities that welcome us.
That’s why UnbridledACTS is partnering with Granby Elementary this year.
On Friday, October 2 at 10:00 AM, we’d love to invite all Granby Elementary PK–5 students and their families to join us at Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains for Steps for Good.
Our Granby Bears can put being safe, kind, and helpful into action by volunteering alongside us — cheering on Unbridled employees during the 5K, encouraging participants, and helping create an energetic finish line. Students will also have the opportunity to join the final stretch and cross the finish line together.
And while our students are there giving back, we want to celebrate them too.
Every Granby Elementary student who attends will get to participate in a special shoe-shopping and fitting experience. Students will try on different styles, choose their favorite pair, and confirm their size. Their new shoes will then be ordered and delivered to Granby Elementary after the event.
There will also be a few fun surprises along the way.

🎉 **We are so excited for our first full day of school!** Here are a few reminders to help everyone have a smooth start:
🌟 **Morning Stars:** Opens at **7:00 a.m.**
🚌 **Buses:** Running on their regular schedules.
🥞 **Breakfast:** Served in the cafeteria from **7:45–8:10 a.m.**
🔔 **Morning Bells:**
* **7:55 a.m. – First Bell:** Students may enter and go to their classrooms.
* **8:15 a.m. – Late Bell:** School begins.
Please remember that **students will not be allowed to go to classrooms before 7:55 a.m.**
😭🎉 **Kindergarten Families:** Join PTO for **Tears & Cheers** in the cafeteria following drop-off!
📸 **First Day Pictures:** Kylie DeLong and PTO will be taking first-day photos in front of our festive backdrop. A printed picture will be shared with families in a few weeks!
🏡 **Going Home Plans:** Please make sure your child's teacher knows how your child will be going home.
🔔 **End of Day:** The bell rings at **4:15 p.m.**
🚗 **Parking & Drop-Off:** Parking is limited! The **big loop is for Kiss & Go drop-off and pick-up**. If you'd like to park and walk your child inside, please use the main parking lot or park at **Raffety Park** and walk over.
🚸 The **small parking lot directly in front of the school is reserved for preschool families**.
