Our Strategic Plan Advisory Committee (S-PAC) is looking for parents, students, and community members who want a voice in where our schools are headed. This year, S-PAC is focused on the priorities in our strategic plan:

🧡 Student Well Being — tackling chronic absenteeism and supporting enrollment
🌱 Professional Learning — building strong, well-supported staff
🤝 Retain & Attract — keeping great educators in Grand County
When we meet: September 21, then the 2nd Monday of every month October–April, and May 24 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at the East Grand District Office.

Even though breakfast and lunch are free for all students, we are asking every family to please take a few minutes to complete the Free & Reduced Meal Application.
Your application helps support our district and schools in many ways! Whether your application is approved or not, completing it can help the district:

🍽️ Reduce the cost of student meals
🏃 Reduce fees for athletics and activities
🏫 Support important programs and resources for our students and schools

Hello Granby Elementary Families!
🎉 **We are so excited for our first full day of school!** Here are a few reminders to help everyone have a smooth start:
🌟 **Morning Stars:** Opens at **7:00 a.m.**
🚌 **Buses:** Running on their regular schedules.
🥞 **Breakfast:** Served in the cafeteria from **7:45–8:10 a.m.**
🔔 **Morning Bells:**
* **7:55 a.m. – First Bell:** Students may enter and go to their classrooms.
* **8:15 a.m. – Late Bell:** School begins.
Please remember that **students will not be allowed to go to classrooms before 7:55 a.m.**
😭🎉 **Kindergarten Families:** Join PTO for **Tears & Cheers** in the cafeteria following drop-off!
📸 **First Day Pictures:** Kylie DeLong and PTO will be taking first-day photos in front of our festive backdrop. A printed picture will be shared with families in a few weeks!
🏡 **Going Home Plans:** Please make sure your child's teacher knows how your child will be going home.
🔔 **End of Day:** The bell rings at **4:15 p.m.**
🚗 **Parking & Drop-Off:** Parking is limited! The **big loop is for Kiss & Go drop-off and pick-up**. If you'd like to park and walk your child inside, please use the main parking lot or park at **Raffety Park** and walk over.
🚸 The **small parking lot directly in front of the school is reserved for preschool families**.
Thank you for your patience as we get everyone safely settled into their first-day routines. We can't wait to see our Granby Bears! 🐻💙

We are excited to officially launch our brand-new district website—your new digital home for everything EGSD! Whether you are a parent, student, staff member, or community member, this is where you’ll find up-to-date school news, athletic schedules, and real-time updates from across all our campuses.
Coming Soon: The EGSD Mobile App & Rooms To make staying connected even easier, we will soon be launching our official EGSD district app! The app brings our entire community together in one place. You’ll be able to follow Live Feed stories and classroom accomplishments as they happen, keep track of school-specific Event Calendars, and receive instant Push Notifications for urgent alerts.
Most excitingly, the app introduces Rooms—our new built-in communication platform. Rooms gives you a single, secure space for two-way messaging directly with your student’s teachers, coaches, and school staff. Plus, with Automatic Translation, you can read and send posts or messages in your preferred home language effortlessly.
